Diesel’s recently has been running a “Be Stupid” Campaign. Do you think this guerrilla marketing tactic is effective enough?

Here’s the first two steps of the “Hydration Station” sign. I first sketched out some ideas and then went over the final idea in pen so it photographed better. The next step was to draw the images onto the two linoleum blocks. I plan on combining the two blocks in the end to create one bigger piece. The hardest part about linoleum is cutting it. I find it easier to heat the blade to make a much smoother cut.
I tried to keep up with a simple idea that conveys the message without using any words. A water drop + water bottle. Many other people in my class seem to have a similar idea. On Thursday we will be printing the signs and I can’t wait to see how they turn out! It will be interesting to see how tiny adjustments will make each sign different, and to compare which one works over a similar option. I’ll hopefully post the results that night or sometime Friday.
