I’m really excited for my new idea for a cartoon concept I came up with yesterday. While I was just hanging around my room sketching, I started to think about those coffee cups (or tea cups I should say) that say words such as “simplic-tea”. I then started drawing tea bag characters to go with each word (you’ll get the idea more soon!).
My list of words is now extensive...
Vintage Advertisements
I really enjoy looking at vintage ads. They are piece of art within themselves. Parker recently sent me a site full of archives of old ads. So, for the next couple of days I will be posting some of my favorite.
So far, I’ve found the alcohol’s ads most humurous and beautiful. The copy is now ironic because of its pleasant supportiveness of binge drinking.. The beauty definitely lies...
